This series of five videos was developed with a string quintet during a live performance recorded in a conservatory setting. The goal was to stay as close as possible to the music, without overcomplicating the visual language. Instead of treating the project as simple documentation, the focus was on finding a balance between clarity and atmosphere, giving space to both the sound and the presence of the musicians. The performance was filmed with a multi-camera setup, allowing us to move between wide shots of the ensemble and more intimate close-ups. A lot of attention went into capturing the small interactions between players, the gestures and the moments of tension and release that are part of playing together. The result is a set of five videos that reflect the work and sensitivity of the ensemble.
